The Department

The Leroy Fire Department was founded in 1953. Since its beginning the department has proudly served the surrounding community.

We have expanded considerably since then and hope to continue to do so. Currently our department stands strong with a developing apparatus of quality vehicles and trained men and women.

Recent History

Craig Wilhelm promoted to Lieutenant.

Craig Wilhelm was officially promoted to Lieutenant at the trustees meeting on May5th, 2008. Lt. Wilhelm is a full-time firefighter/paramedic and is the EMS coordinator for the department. Lt. Wilhelm will be in charge of "C" Shift.

Pancake Breakfast is a huge success.

This years pancake breakfast was a huge success. The department would like to thank Perkin's Restaraunt for their sponsorship of the event and a special thank you to Sharon and Randy Rogers for there all of their hard work coordinating the event.

The Station

The building that houses the firefighters of our department is at 13028 Leroy Center Rd. There is a community center attached and baseball fields nearby so feel free to check it out.
